When you buy a book do you only care about the book cover, title and story line? Do you care about the author? (Or is that just me?) You can have the prettiest cover and the NYT can be giving you rave reviews, but if you’re a douchebag, IMMA PASS. When I first met Anna Lind Thomas she was better at everything than me (social media, writing, being funny) but she didn’t act that way. She was kind and thoughtful and I loved her instantly. So, if you only care about this book being hilarious and relatable, then guess what? You’re in luck. But if you (like me) want the writer to be someone you’d split a bowl of queso with? Then you couldn’t have made a better choice.
